Polymer Clay oringinal Sleepy Head Doll and her Polymer Puppy Also link to Drowsey Doll and Pals

About polymer clay Sleepy Head design These two original Sleepy Heads were renamed Drowsey Dolls and Pal when the name Sleepy Heads was discovered to have already been taken by another doll artist.

The doll and her pup was entered in the San Diego Del Mar Fair and took first place for original doll design. What made her unique was that both she and the pup's armatures were made from simple, inexpensive, and varying types of fish swivels.

Polymer Clay was wrapped and sculpted around combined three-way, barrel, and snap swivels that formed the entire body from head to toe including arms, legs, head, and puppy dog ears n' tail! Sleepy Heads were the prototype for Drowsey Dolls and Pals.
