About Mardi Gras Scratch Off Ticket Design The Mardi Gras lottery Scratch Off ticket design began in Streamline, a program that converts lined art into vector art so it can be imported into yet another program to be modified, scaled, and filled with color. Illustrator was selected for the target import program where the head and hat was modified. Final layout, text, and geometric type objects were done in Corel Draw.

The completed product was then saved using the save for the web option in Corel Draw. It was then optimized in Fireworks, and exported to Dreamweaver!

Designing across platforms and utilizing many softwares has always been and continues to be an area where few experts or books offer a How To that anyone less than Einstein could understand.

Fortunately, programming advancements promise to take the mystery and the misery out of loving to create in more than one software at a time.
